Privacy Policy
Overview
Laimen is designed to be private by default. The desktop application stores everything locally and transmits nothing. This policy explains what data exists, where it lives, and who can see it.
Data collected by the app
Laimen stores reminder data, settings, and usage statistics in a local SQLite database at %APPDATA%\laimen\laimen.sqlite on your device.
This data never leaves your computer. We do not collect telemetry, crash reports, analytics, or any other usage data.
Data collected during purchases
When you purchase a Pro license, payment is processed by LemonSqueezy. LemonSqueezy collects the information necessary to complete the transaction — such as your name, email address, and payment details — and stores it according to their own privacy practices. We only receive confirmation that a valid license was issued; we do not receive or store your payment card details.

Data collected by this website
This website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, referrer, country). Analytics storage is set to denied, so no cookies are set and no persistent identifiers are stored in your browser. Google still receives anonymised event pings (page views) in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not log visitor IP addresses ourselves or collect any other personally identifiable information.

Data retention
App data lives on your device and is retained until you uninstall the application or delete the database file yourself. LemonSqueezy's retention practices are described in their privacy policy.
Children
Laimen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Software or this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
