Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Laimen ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

Laimen is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the Software on one Windows computer you own or control.

Free tier: You may use up to 2 active reminders at no charge.

Pro tier: A Pro license unlocks unlimited reminders on a single device. You may request a license transfer to a different device by contacting us.

3. Purchases

Pro licenses are purchased through LemonSqueezy, our payment processor. By completing a purchase, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. All sales are final except where required by applicable law.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; (b) sublicense, sell, or redistribute the Software or your license key; (c) use the Software for any unlawful purpose; (d) circumvent any technical limits or tier enforcement in the Software.

5. Updates

We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. We are not obligated to provide updates, patches, or ongoing support.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
